Our Team

Aravind Immaneni

Co-Founder, CEO

Aravind is a Financial services veteran with extensive experience in banking operations, technology and fraud prevention. He served as the COO for Citi Global Consumer Bank from June '18 to Sep '20. Prior to that he was the Chief Operations and Technology officer at Fifth Third Bank. He also held senior leadership roles at TD Bank and Capital One. He graduated with a B.Tech from IIT Madras; PhD from Univ of Illinois and an MBA from Wharton Business School.

Tej Arora

CTO

Tej has 3 decades of experience in Product & Technology Development with leadership roles in building products in the Web, Enterprise and Cloud arenas. He has worked for large companies (Oracle, Yahoo, Netscape and AOL) as well as startups (Taggle, SmartCrowds, Kiva Software), based in Bangalore and San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated with a B.Tech from IIT Madras, and an M.S from Univ of California Davis

Ernie Fontes

Head of Data Science

Ernie is a mathematician and data scientist. He joined Guardinex from academia, where he held a Ross Assistant Professorship at the Ohio State University. He has published research in high-dimensional algebraic topology and category theory. He graduated with a B.A. from Harvard University, M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin.
